In 1974, our founders Charles and Frank Urata formed a small business in South Lake Tahoe, California. They began with $100, an old pickup truck, and the guidance of their Father, Sofio Urata. They worked hard and served the residential customers until 1985 by placing & finishing concrete patios and driveways.
Before long, they had built a business known for honesty, customer satisfaction, and a strong commitment to high quality products. Urata & Sons Concrete soon left the residential market and quickly solidified itself in the commercial sector as a diverse union contractor with the best capabilities.

In June of 2022, Charles and Kelly Urata announced their well-deserved retirement from Urata and Sons Concrete LLC. Effective July 1st, 2022, company management transitioned to a small group of paramount and dedicated employees. To meet them, click here.
